The studio is a bright, inclusive creative space in  Strathcona  dedicated  to  C L A Y.

I N T E R M E D I A T E    A D U L T    E V E N I N G   S U M M E R    C L A S S

This weekly 3 hour class is best suited for folks that have already taken a class or three and would like to build on their skills.  If you are keen on diving deeper into the exciting world of clay, refining your techniques, hand or wheel, practice throwing taller, deeper and wider, investigating complex elements and surface decoration while exploring your unique creativity, - this class is for YOU.

In this class you will work at your own pace in an inclusive and relaxed creative studio. Tools are available for use however students are encouraged to bring their own. The studio uses cone 6 cream body clay which is suitable for hand and wheel throwing. Purchase clay $30 at first class.

COST:  $385 + gst (19.25)

Time:    6pm - 9pm  (3 hours)

WEDNESDAY July-  5, 12, 19, 26

                       Aug - 2, 9, 16, 23  (8 classes)

There will be ONE free make up class during the 8 weeks which will be on a Saturday.

Please note: cancellations are acceptable up to 7 days before start of session with a $50 admin fee.  Class is non-refundable after start date.

ART & CRAFT

SUMMER CAMP

Ages 13 - 17

Monday July 31 – August 4       

9.30 am – 12.30 pm

 

This is a multi-media exploration summer camp ideal for young people wanting to tap into their creative side with a selection of crafts such as pottery - functional and sculptural, felting, jewelry, mobiles, weaving, visible mending, creative recycling and much more. This camp is best suited for youth curious about their art/craft practice beyond the school art class. Participants will be encouraged to explore the depth of their imagination in a relaxed and inclusive studio. Techniques learned during the week will focus on building a sustainable creative practice and life skills.

Please bring a light snack and apron if needed.
